ShareToCal ShareToCal

Hello, and welcome!

Thank you for helping me test ShareToCal! It's an app for saving things you find on your phone – a show to watch, an article to read, something to buy – neatly into folders, with a reminder when you want one. You can find out more at sharetocal.com.

The app is in testing on Google Play, so you'll join the test first. Anyone can join, and it only takes a few minutes.

1  INSTALL THE APP

On your Android phone (not a computer), tap this button:

Join the ShareToCal test
  1. A Google Play page opens. If it asks which account to use, choose the Google account your Play Store uses.
  2. Tap Become a tester.
  3. Tap Download it on Google Play (or search for ShareToCal in the Play Store), then tap Install.
If it says the app isn't available yet, wait a few minutes and try again – joining can take a little while to reach your phone.
See “Item not found” or “App not available”? Check you're signed in to Google Play with the same Google account you used to join the test (Play Store → tap your picture, top right). Still stuck? Email me at support@sharetocal.com.

2  GET STARTED

  1. Open ShareToCal and tap Get started. No sign-up needed – you can start saving straight away.
  2. It then offers a quick try: tap Try it now and follow the sample page. You can try it again any time from Settings → Try a sample share.
  3. Worth doing once you've tried it: open Settings and tap Add email. We'll email you a code, then you choose a password.
This keeps your list safe if you change or lose your phone, and lets you use ShareToCal on your other devices. Nothing after a couple of minutes? Check your junk or spam folder.

3  TRY IT OUT

  • Open YouTube (or any app), find something you'd like to watch later and tap Share.
  • ShareToCal appears in the list of apps that opens. The first time, you may need to swipe to the end and tap More to find it. You can make it a favourite there so it's always at the front. Watch how (30 seconds)
  • Choose ShareToCal, check the folder it suggests and tap Save – that's it. Want a nudge later? Tap Remind me first; the first time, allow notifications so the reminder can reach you.
Good to know
• ShareToCal installs from Google Play like any other app, and updates the same way.
• Small improvements also arrive by themselves: if something looks different after a day or two, that's why.
• Already have a ShareToCal account? Tap I already have an account on the first screen instead.

If anything is confusing or doesn't work, email me at support@sharetocal.com – a screenshot helps a lot. There are no silly questions; that's exactly what testing is for.

Thanks again,
Adam
